The end of my journey

The last breakfast. Fresh fruits. Mango and banana and cherry juice. Fried eggs and bacon and roasted toast.

Sitting by the pool, with all my new parrot friends around. All my things packed. The last time.

Had to go back home two days earlier than the plan. As my sister is so bad.

The end of paradise. Like a crash landing.

There are many things that I will miss, – and remember! – from my journey in the Philippines.

Fresh fruits. Fried bananas. The sun, and palm trees. The sea and the waves. Snorkling together with all beautiful fishes. All nice poeple. New friends. The traffic, crazy and – yeah, just crazy! Tricycles and motorbikes and cars and trucks and buses. All the cackling chickens everywhere you go. Evening walks in the balmy air. The beautiful country. Chocolat hills and waterfalls. The zipline!

Lot’s of things.

From Moalboal and Panagsama beach to Cebu, to Manila, and then Sweden.

A brutal reminder of how quickly life can change.

And, the words….. ”I should have….” ”I should have……” ”I should have……”

There is soooo many things, that I should have done, that I didn’t done, while there was time. And even if it’s like that, always, when things like this happen, I still remind my self. I should have done…

Now it’s a big question if my sister will be able to talk again. Will be able to eat, move…

There is a quiet question in her eyes. But you don’t know the question.

There is a quiet scream on her lips. Which land brutally in my heart.

I should have done.

I should have done.

I should have done.
